Marcin started his singing education in Poland where in 2006 he completed his Master degree vocal studies. The same year he was awarded a scholarship to attend the Royal Academy of Music, where in 2009 he completed Postgraduate Opera Course with Distinction.
Marcin most recently recently sung: Zuniga (Carmen) with OperaUpClose in Soho Theatre and for Opera Brava; Osmin (The Abduction from the Serail) for Popup Opera; Bartolo/Antonio (The Marriage of Figaro) for Opera Vera.
Last season Marcin sung Sparafucile (Rigoletto) and Angelotti (Tosca) for Opera Brava; Bonze YA Programme (Madama Butterfly) for Opera Holland Park; King (Aida) for Kentish Opera
He took part in the British premiere of Lord Berners’ Le Carrosse as Thomas d’Esquivel for Dorset Opera. Marcin covered Il Commendatore (Don Giovanni); Don Fernando (Fidelio) for Garsington Opera; Betto (Gianni Schicchi) for Wexford Festival Opera; Angelotti (Tosca ) for Fulham Opera
At Glyndebourne he covered Hans Folz in Wagner Die Meistersinger von Nurnberg . In Germany he sung Doctor Grenvil and Baron Douphol (cover) in La Traviata in Schwerin.
One of his favourite roles is Sarastro in Magic Flute which he sung for The London Festival Opera. His most frequently sung role is Colline in La Boheme and he did it for Longborough Festival Opera, Opera North (cover), New London Opera Players and covered this role for Gubbay Productions in the Royal Albert Hall.
In the future Marcin can be seen as Zuniga in Carmen for OperaUpCose on Tour and Colline in La Boheme for Swansea City Opera.
