Friday 3rd October 7:30pm
Following the outstanding success of our Baroque evening at the 2013 Festival, we bring you another spectacular night.
We will have three truly wonderful baroque musicians alongside the incredible countertenor Michael Taylor. At our inaugural Festival last year, Michael Taylor captivated the audience with his performance. Taking time out from a busy schedule around the world, he makes his return to our Festival to perform a fascinating selection of pieces from composers including Dowland, Purcell and Handel. It is promising to be a deeply moving concert.
Last year the audience was stunned by the sound of the theorbo instrument. This year we will surprise you once more with a rather wonderful, but often overlooked, baroque instrument.
Doors open at 6:45pm
Drinks will be available before & after the performance, and during the break.
